What is Cornerstone’s PLACE?
PLACE is the Professional Learning Academy and Center of Excellence. PLACE is designed specifically for education and measurement professionals to learn, share, and grow.

What are the different membership types?
There are two types of memberships: Individual membership and Group (or corporate) membership.
What services does Cornerstone’s PLACE provide?
PLACE provides training, tools, checklists, and other opportunities for education and assessment professionals. We’re just getting started, so if you have ideas, let us know! We’re here to serve the industry and would love to hear your suggestions, feedback, and kudos!
How many training courses does Cornerstone PLACE have?
Currently, you can access the Professional Proctoring Series and the Test Monitor Coaching Series as well as several other tools. The Professional Proctoring Series includes 3 different courses based on administration type – paper-based tests, computer-based tests, and the online observation of tests. Each Course has nine modules. The Test Monitor Coaching Video Series is available for paper-based and computer-based testing for training proctors and invigilators in several different languages.
Why does it say I have a corporate account when I purchased a group account?
A corporate account is a group account. We use the word “group” because not all large members are corporations, but the terms mean the same thing.
How often do I need to renew my membership fee?
Your membership is renewable on an annual basis. We are always adding more training and tools, so you’ll want to stop in at PLACE often to see what’s new!
How will I know that I have access to PLACE after filling in my information?
After filling in your information, you should receive a welcome email and a payment receipt email. If you do not receive these emails, contact us at help@cornerstonestrategies.org or (888) 771-4654.
For Administrators:
How do I add sub accounts?
There are three ways to easily add a sub account:
1. Set it up manually;
2. Share a link so the subaccount holder can set up their subaccount; or
3. Upload a CVS file with the information.
To get started with setting up subaccounts;
1. Navigate to your account.
2. Click on Subscriptions.
3. Click on three dots next to your membership.
4. Click on Sub Accounts.
5. Add Sub Accounts by either…
a. Press blue button that says Add Sub Accounts and sign-up Sub Accounts manually.
b. Copying the Signup URL and sending it to members you want to add.
c. Uploading a CSV File of Sub Accounts you want added.
How do I set up a sub account manually?
- Navigate to your account.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Click on the three horizontal dots next to your membership.
- Click on Sub Accounts.
- Select the blue button that says Add Sub Accounts
- Enter the subaccount information in the boxes
- Check off box that says Send NEW members the welcome email.
- Click the blue button that says Submit

How do I set up a sub account by sending a link to the sub account holder?
- Navigate to your account.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Click on the three horizontal dots next to your membership.
- Click on Sub Accounts.
- Scroll down to the Signup URL link.
- Copy the Signup URL and send it to the emails or phone numbers of members you want to add.

How do I add existing sub accounts to my courses?
- Navigate to your account.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Click on the three horizontal dots next to your membership.
- Click on Sub Accounts.
- Select the blue button that says Add Sub Accounts
- Put the existing sub account’s username in the existing username box.
- Check off box that says Send New members the welcome email.

How do I upload a CSV file?
- Navigate to your account.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Click on the three horizontal dots next to your membership.
- Click on Sub Accounts.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to the CSV File section
- Click on Choose File
- Select the file that contains the list of users you want to add.
- Check off the boxes that says, “Send NEW members a password reset link (does not email existing members)” and “Send NEW members the welcome email if they haven’t received it already for the membership”.

When I click on my profile, why do I see courses?
As an administrator, you have access to your group courses and can complete them individually. You also have the ability to sign up other people with subaccounts to your group courses.
How will I know that I have access to PLACE after filling in my information?
